Brick partition.
New word in my vocabulary that designates the principle used for the sliding door between the walk-in closet and the bathroom. I need to remove it to dye the door.
First step, find the name in Google. Second step, find out how to “disassemble a sliding pocket door”.
Here’s how to disassemble an interior pocket door
Dismantling a sliding door with interior pocket is very easy when you know this tip: It is necessary to dismantle a part of the rail (on one side or the other of the door) which is fixed by visible screws. Once done, you will then have access to the plastic fasteners that hold the door to the track.
The screws visible inside the rail allow the door to be lowered slightly, in order to “unclip” the plastic fixings at the top of it to finally remove it.
There! Are you getting there too?
