Pastels: soothing colors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Soothing colors are always a safe choice for a nursery. Pastel colors envelop baby in a feeling of calm and gentle<\/strong> . They also create a peaceful environment that your baby will enjoy and may well help with his sleep. Soothing colors to consider include soft pink, powder blue, mint, lilac, creamy white, pale yellow, and light lime green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still hesitant? Take a moment to look at the nursery at different times of the day to observe how sunlight enters the room. Does the room receive direct or indirect sunlight? All day long? Never?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the nursery is a large room that receives a lot of light, you could go for an overall and enveloping color, in darker tones, such as medium or dark gray, navy blue or even brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
