For several years, I have been looking for the best way to clean a carpet from animal hair. I also wanted to find an alternative being the most &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/renobunker.com\/en\/zero-waste\/\"> zero waste<\/a> &#8221; as possible. I share my experiences here with you.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The rubber glove method<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Previously, I tried inserting my hand into a rubber glove and rubbing the mat repeatedly with the palm of my hand. The friction makes it possible to create \u201cstrands\u201d of hair, which we then collect.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The pros<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It works pretty well.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cons<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the long run, the friction heats the palm of the hand and it is frankly unpleasant. The glove will inevitably break eventually, so more should be used.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The brush against bristle method<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have a similar brush, it may be worth a try.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\"\/>The pros<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a zero waste alternative.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\"\/>Cons<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It doesn&#8217;t remove pet hair that well, but I think it may depend on the type of carpet you&#8217;re trying to clean. And you have to empty the brush multiple times.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The best method: The<a href=\"https:\/\/lintrolled.com\/products\/lintcleaner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> LintRolled<\/a> to clean a carpet from animal hair<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have a big crush on the<a href=\"https:\/\/lintrolled.com\/products\/lintcleaner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> LintRolled<\/a> . It is a tool whose copper teeth are specifically designed to remove hair and lint. I bought without much expectation (costing US $ 15) and it&#8217;s honestly impressive as a small tool.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The pros<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It works really well. It picks up ALL animal hair.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can even use it on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The rugs<\/li><li>Clothes<\/li><li>The furniture<\/li><li>Covers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And finally, it is the zero waste alternative par excellence. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cons<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I haven&#8217;t found any yet.
